Paul Ferguson
CEO & Owner

Paul and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 30 years and have co-owned The Ferguson Team since launching their franchise in 2000. Together, they have built one of the most trusted and respected home inspection companies in Northeast Ohio. Paul’s leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence have shaped the company into a resource-driven partner for agents and homebuyers alike.

Professional Experience
Paul is an ACI–ASHI Certified Inspector and previously performed more than 35,000 inspections throughout his career. While he no longer performs inspections, his extensive technical background and decades of field experience continue to guide the standards, training, and quality of the entire team.

As CEO, Paul oversees company strategy, operations, business development, inspector training, and industry partnerships. He regularly sponsors and teaches continuing education courses for real estate agents, equipping them with tools and insights that support smoother, faster closings.

Heidi Ferguson
Co-Owner & Marketing Director

Heidi and her husband, Paul, have been married for 30 years and have co-owned The Ferguson Team since 2000. With a background as a registered nurse, she brings a compassionate, service-minded, and people-focused approach to the business. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care have been foundational in shaping the company’s culture and reputation throughout Northeast Ohio.

Professional Experience
Over the past 25 years, Heidi has worked in every part of the company—answering phones, scheduling, bookkeeping, operations, and supporting team development. This hands-on experience has given her a deep, comprehensive understanding of the business from the ground up.

While she no longer practices nursing, the qualities that defined her nursing career—empathy, attentiveness, and a heart for service—continue to influence how she engages with clients, agents, and colleagues.
Today, she enjoys being involved in the marketing side of the business, nurturing relationships across the real estate community, coordinating events, and strengthening our presence throughout Northeast Ohio. Her kind demeanor and joyful personality make her well-loved and appreciated by agents and partners.

Spencer Litman
Field Operations Manager & Certified Home Inspector

Spencer has been a Certified Home Inspector since 2020 and now serves as our Field Operations Manager, playing a central leadership role in inspector development, field quality, and team performance. With a strong construction and electrical background, he brings a high level of technical expertise, consistency, and professionalism to every inspection and every inspector he mentors.

Spencer holds multiple State of Ohio licenses and certifications, including:

His construction knowledge, especially in electrical systems, makes him a key technical resource within the company. Glenn Sanders
Team Lead & Home Inspector

Glenn is a highly experienced home inspector who joined The Ferguson Team in 2023 after beginning his Pillar To Post career in 2018. With more than 2,500 inspections completed, he brings depth, precision, and a calm, professional presence to every client and agent he serves. Glenn’s knowledge and leadership make him a key pillar within our multi-inspector team.

As Team Lead, Glenn plays a vital role in training new inspectors, supporting field operations, and ensuring the team upholds the high standards The Ferguson Team is known for.

Justin Ferguson
Home Inspector

Justin is a licensed home inspector with more than two years of field experience. He began his career while attending the University of Akron and quickly established himself as a dependable, detail-oriented member of our inspection team. His calm demeanor and professional approach have made him a consistently requested inspector among real estate agents and clients.

Justin is trained and licensed through the State of Ohio and performs full-scope residential inspections, including structural, mechanical, and environmental components. His thoroughness, accuracy, and clear communication help clients feel confident in understanding the condition of their prospective home.

John Spencer
Home Inspector & Well/Septic Expert

John is a licensed Home Inspector with more than 3,000 inspections completed since 2017. With a strong background in roofing and extensive certifications, he serves as our in-house Well and Septic expert. His thoroughness, calm approach, and strong technical understanding make him an invaluable part of our inspection team.

Mark Hershberger
Senior Home Inspector

Mark is one of the most experienced inspectors on our team, having been a licensed Home Inspector since 2008 and completing more than 3,500 inspections. His depth of knowledge, calm demeanor, and consistent professionalism make him a trusted resource for homebuyers and real estate agents throughout Northeast Ohio.

Dan Kinney
Home Inspector

Dan has been a licensed Home Inspector since 2021 and has completed more than 1,750 inspections. With a decade of experience running his own contracting business, he brings a strong understanding of structural systems, building performance, and environmental conditions. His steady approach and technical precision make him a trusted inspector among homebuyers and real estate professionals.

Adam Abdullah
Home Inspector

Adam joined The Ferguson Team in 2024 as a licensed Home Inspector and Certified Mold Inspector. With seven years of experience in property rehabilitation and rental management throughout Akron, he brings a strong working knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and real-world housing issues.

Home Inspector

Ken brings more than 40 years of client-focused experience to The Ferguson Team, combining exceptional communication skills with a strong eye for detail. After operating his own inspection company, he joined Pillar To Post to deliver thorough, reliable, and customer-centered home inspections.

Joyce Bailey
Office Manager

Joyce has been part of The Ferguson Team since 2023 and serves as our Office Manager. She is the glue that holds the team together—ensuring smooth operations, supporting inspectors, and keeping the office running with consistency and care. Her dedication to the success of the company and the well-being of every team member makes her an invaluable part of our organization.

With strong administrative leadership skills and a natural ability to organize, coordinate, and support, Joyce manages scheduling, communication, workflow, and team operations. She is known for her reliability, her steady presence, and her genuine commitment to helping the team operate at its best.

Anna Karos
Marketing Director

Anna has been a key member of The Ferguson Team since 2020 and serves as our Marketing Director and a strong leader within the organization. With advanced education in business management and nonprofit administration, she brings professionalism, strategic thinking, and creativity to our brand presence and agent relationships across Northeast Ohio.

Professional Experience
Anna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and Administration, and Lean Six Sigma Certification. Her background equips her with strong organizational skills, operational insight, and the ability to design effective marketing strategies that strengthen our partnerships throughout the real estate industry.

In addition to her work with The Ferguson Team, Anna and her husband, Tom, co-own CrossFit HighGear in Medina, OH, and manage multiple rental properties in Wadsworth and Medina. Her experience as a business owner gives her a practical, entrepreneurial mindset that directly benefits our team’s growth and outreach.

Anna and Tom have two children and enjoy an active, family-centered lifestyle. She loves working out, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and loved ones. Their home is known for its open-door hospitality, and Anna enjoys hosting Bible studies and creating a welcoming space for others.

Jill McMahon
Marketing & Relationships Specialist

Jill has been part of the real estate industry since 2017 and joined The Ferguson Team in 2023 as our Marketing & Relationships Specialist. Known as the outgoing “life of the party,” Jill brings contagious energy, positivity, and a genuine love for people to every office she visits. She truly enjoys her work—and it shows in every interaction.

Ethan Ferguson
Client Care Coordinator

Ethan is a dedicated member of our administrative and client-care team, focused on providing a warm and attentive experience to every caller. Having grown up around Pillar To Post, he has seen the business firsthand for many years and understands the level of professionalism, urgency, and care our clients expect.

Professional Experience
Before joining the team, Ethan served as a manager at McDonald’s, where he strengthened his leadership and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
He gained additional customer-service experience during his time at the University of Akron while serving on the marketing team for two years.
Ethan also spent two summers as a camp counselor working with younger children, further developing patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills.

Donna Fairhurst
Client Care Coordinator

Donna brings a warm, steady presence to our administrative team, supported by years of experience in office leadership, customer service, and hands-on work. With a strong commitment to serving others, she ensures that clients feel supported, informed, and well cared for from the first phone call to the final follow-up.
